Karen Sutton

Karen Sutton is a finance and business consultant, producer and arts professional with more than 25 years’ experience working with independent artists and creative organisations. Alongside her consultancy work, she specialises in production management for music-led arts projects, supporting artists and organisations with the financial, strategic and practical aspects of developing and delivering ambitious creative work.

Karen is a director and lead producer of the Oram Awards CIC, an awards and mentorship programme supporting women and gender-diverse artists working at the forefront of innovation in music, sound and related technology. Her work is driven by a commitment to creating a more inclusive creative industries sector, informed by her own experience and an understanding of the structural barriers that continue to affect women and underrepresented groups within music and music technology.
