Rebecca Gallagher

Rebecca Gallagher is a multidisciplinary artist based in the Derbyshire Dales, working across painting, sculpture, illustration, jewellery and community arts. Her practice is rooted in storytelling, symbolism and a deep connection to the natural world, exploring themes of identity, memory, folklore and belonging. Drawing on landscape, mythology, personal narratives and the quiet magic of everyday life, she creates vibrant, expressive works that invite curiosity and reflection.

Alongside her studio practice, Rebecca develops workshops, exhibitions and community projects that use creativity as a means of connection, self-expression and shared experience. Her work has been exhibited across Derbyshire, Sheffield and the United States, and is held in private collections internationally. Working across materials and disciplines, from oil paint and carved wood to collaborative projects, Rebecca's practice celebrates imagination and explores the stories, memories and connections that shape our sense of ourselves and the world around us.
